ONLINE - Embodying Nonviolent Communication with David Weinstock

Von 02.11.2020 19:00 bis 26.11.2020 20:30
Ort: online

We are very excited to welcome David Weinstock (CNVC certified trainer from Washington state, US) to Forum Demokratie Düsseldorf!

During these turbulent times of 2020 David will give an online course – and hopefully come to Germany next year to offer a live training.

Join David in this course to learn a simple yet deep whole mind/body/linguistic practice.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC)
is both a simple set of skills and a lifelong practice for cultivating deeply connective relationships. Integrating body awareness with the practice of Nonviolent Communication’s brilliant linguistics helps develop inner wisdom to keep us balanced, centered and resourceful during times of conflict and uncertainty.

Very often Nonviolent Communication trainings emphasize the verbal part of communication. David’s practices are unique in that they put focus on the less-emphasized nonverbal realm in which the majority of communication occurs.

The work that he has developed offers a unique mind/body approach for embodying the art NVC. NVC as an embodied practice synchronizes language, emotion, and action to support a meaningful life that is deeply felt.Woven into his programs are lessons of conflict resolution distilled from the peaceful art of Aikido.

Come and join us
on this training to learn David’s unique integration of verbal, nonverbal, emotional and physical practices designed to help you to:

  • Align your words, actions and presence with your deepest values.
  • Develop your empathic listening faculties.
  • Nurture intimate connections and cultivate community.
  • Identify personal needs and balance them with the needs of others.
  • Manage mood and emotion in stressful times in ways that support connection.

Such skills are essential for any of us who want to deepen the quality of our relationships, generate community, and effect positive change, whether it’s personal, social, environmental, or political.
